L'Union Estate Park

The Plantation House

The Plantation House is one of the symbols of La Digue island and is one of the oldest examples of French colonial architecture in Seychelles. The house was once the home of a Mauritian family and the building was created using precious wood and covered with palm leaves.

Anse Source d'Argent beach

There is a beach on La Digue that is so beautiful it may well ruin all other beaches for you: Anse Source d’Argent beach. Thousands of tourists come here every year for the breathtaking granite rock formations, some of the most-photographed formations on Earth. The walk to the beach goes trough the L’Union Estate park.

Aldabra giant Tortoise

The Aldabra Giant Tortoise one of the largest tortoises in the world is another popular tourist attraction. The animals are always kept inside L’Union Estate park, in contrast to Curieuse Island, a nearby nature reserve where they can roam free. Since 1974 they have been protected by Seychelles law under the Wild Animals and Birds Protection Act.
